Jubilee of Food & Wine with Alumni Art Show

Join friends and celebrate the season Jubilee style! This popular wine country event features artisan chefs paired with the perfect wines to dine your way around the Grang Gallery at SCDS. Belly up to the SCDS Wine Shop to sip, savor and select wines for purchase from 74 great vintages (exclusive to our SCDS families). Shop in the Holiday Marketplace and browse the alumni art gallery. This year each class is creating a wonderful gift basket for the raffle. Place your raffle tickets for the class gift baskets and other raffle prizes in your chosen bowl the night of Jubilee. Want to win big? Buy a martini and receive a raffle ticket for the exclusive jewelry raffle donated by E. R. Sawyer Jewelers!

Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Time: 8:15 AM - 12:30 PM

On Monday, November 24, grandparents and special senior friends join students at the morning assembly in the Jackson Theater led by Headmaster Philip Nix. Guests spend the remainder of the morning with their grandchildren, observing and engaging in classroom activities. The day will end for grandparents after they have lunch with their grandchildren. Gingerbread House Workshop

Kids can decorate a holiday gingerbread house at the Gingerbread House Workshop on Friday afternoon, December 5. Hand-made gingerbread houses are provided along with lots of decorative candy and icing. Friendly elves will be there to help and parents are welcome to assist too! This is a fun, festive project to share with school mates and friends. Reserve your space early!

If you can’t make the workshop, gingerbread house kits to take home and design will be available for sale at Jubilee of Food & Wine on 11/22/08, Grandparents and Special Friends Day and Scene Study on 11/24, and through the Development Office until sold out.
